Touring Car Racing Stopwatches
Touring car racing is a hugely popular motorsport. The Fastime 500DM2 and the Fastime 9X download data stopwatch are our best sellers for touring car racing. Depending on what you need to do at your event you may need a different watch from our range. We've created a handy list of what you need to time at a touring car racing event and what Fastime watch you'll need to do it:
- Lap times - Capture a time for individual laps. If you just want to take lap times without storing them in memory, then any basic stopwatch will do this. Consider a Fastime 1 stopwatch. If you want to store lap times into memory, then the Fastime 500DM2 is the one to go for.
- Cumulative lap times - Capture the total time from the event start. If you want to take cumulative lap times then any basic cumulative split stopwatch like a Fastime 1 stopwatch will do. If you want to switch between lap and split times we recommend the Fastime 4 Split Time stopwatch. If you want to store lap times into memory, then the Fastime 500DM2 is the one to go for.
- Split Times within a lap (sector times) - Find out where you are quickest and slowest on a lap by sector. If you want to take split sector times without storing them in memory we recommend the Fastime 4 Split Time stopwatch or the Fastime 500DM2 if you want to store times into memory.
- Cumulative Split Times within a lap (sector times) - Find out where you are quickest and slowest on a lap by cumulative sector. If you want to take split sector times without storing them in memory we recommend the Fastime 4 Split Time Stopwatch or the Fastime 500DM2 if you want to store times into memory.
- Split times between two competitors - To measure the gap between two competitors. If you want to take split times without storing them in memory we recommend the Fastime 4 Split Time Stopwatch or the Fastime 500DM2 if you want to store times into memory.
- If you want to store a series of races, or practice times and race times, then the Fastime 14X stopwatch will do this by saving groups of split times (races) as individual segments.
- Event time - To measure the time taken to carry out a particular event, for example a pit stop. Fastime 1 stopwatch is the one to go for.
- Average speed - If you enter the circuit distance you can measure the speed for each lap and cumulative average speed. The Fastime 7 Speed Conversion stopwatch has the speed conversion.
- If you want a backlight stopwatch for timing at night then the Fastime 28L stopwatch with backlight has this feature.
- If you want to print out lap and split times then with the Fastime 9X download data stopwatch you can download to your phone, analyse and print out data.
All of these are suitable karting stopwatches but the Fastime 11 stopwatch can be attached to your steering wheel and used in endurance karting races.
